About Rabbi Levine
Rabbi Menachem Levine is the CEO of JDBY-YTT (Joan Dachs Bais Yaakov-Yeshivas Tiferes Tzvi) in Chicago, the largest Jewish school in the Midwest. In this role, he oversees the strategic direction and operations of the school and is deeply committed to both Jewish Education and the Jewish Community.
During his thirteen-year tenure as the Rav of Kehillas Am Echad in San Jose, CA (2007-2020), Rabbi Levine’s dedication was unwavering. His efforts were instrumental in developing a vibrant Jewish community in San Jose and Silicon Valley. Rabbi Levine’s emphasis on serious Torah Study and the importance of a solid Jewish identity and community left a lasting impact on countless individuals, his synagogue, and the region.
In addition to his current full-time work on behalf of Jewish education as CEO of JDBY-YTT, Rabbi Levine lectures for Jewish groups in Chicago. His articles have been published in national publications, including the Dallas Morning News, the Washington Times, The Jerusalem Post, Hamodia Magazine, Aish.com, and others. National television and radio shows have also interviewed Rabbi Levine.
Rabbi Levine studied in leading yeshivos such as Beth Medrash Govoha, Mir Yerushalayim, and Shaar Hatorah-Grodno, and is also a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a member of the New Jersey Bar.
Rabbi Levine’s extensive knowledge of history and his ability to connect it to current events made his Jewish History series (found on this website) a compelling and popular resource. His lectures at Intel, Apple, and Google on Jewish Viewpoints of Current Events, Assimilation, and the Holocaust were highly appreciated. Rabbi Levine’s invocations to the San Jose City Council were also well-received.
